Job Summary

The Automation Architect will serve as a strategic liaison between clients and our technical team. This role requires a people-focused individual who thrives on collaboration, excels in client strategy conversations, and ensures all deliverables are aligned with the client’s business objectives. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to build rapport, a strong grasp of operational processes, and the technical competency to lead and facilitate meaningful technical conversations with clients.

This role combines fostering strong relationships, driving alignment between projects and business goals, and serving as the strategic point of contact for our clients while ensuring technical excellence. The successful candidate will be collaborative, persuasive, adaptable, and outcome-driven, balancing technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build strong, genuine relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
    • Lead client strategy conversations related to technical needs, sales/marketing processes, operational workflows, and system integrations.
    • Proactively identify client needs and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that all solutions align with their business objectives.
  • Project Leadership
    • Identify and communicate client needs, ensuring expectations are met and solutions align with client goals.
    • Act as the voice of the client within the organization, ensuring consistent quality and strategic focus.
  • Sales and Account Support
    • Support sales efforts by participating in discovery calls, understanding client pain points, and articulating the value of proposed solutions.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between client acquisition efforts and project delivery.
  • Technical Competency
    • Leverage a strong foundational understanding of relevant automation platforms and technologies to guide client discussions.
    • Ensure all technical solutions are both feasible and aligned with the client’s needs.
    • Collaborate effectively with technical specialists to provide well-rounded and innovative solutions.
    • Maintain foundational awareness of key technical areas, including:
      • CRM system implementation, migration, and customization (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
      • Integration platforms like Zapier and API REST development concepts.
      • Low-code/no-code workflow automation platforms.
  • Strategic Alignment
    • Continuously assess projects for alignment with the client’s overarching business goals.
    • Regularly communicate insights and opportunities to both clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Advocate for process improvements and innovations to enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Full professional proficiency in English (e.g., CEFR level C1 or IELTS band score of 7.0–8.0)
    • Highly skilled at building rapport and influencing others.
    • Strong communication and facilitation abilities, particularly in client-facing settings.
  • Technical and Strategic Expertise
    • Strong understanding of automation platforms and related technologies (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Ontraport).
    • Experience in leading client strategy conversations, particularly around systems integration, sales/marketing processes, and operational workflows.
    • Ability to see the bigger picture and ensure all work aligns with client business objectives.
  • Project and Account Management Skills
    • Proven experience in managing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining client satisfaction.
    • Familiarity with tools and methodologies for project and account management.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability
    • Comfortable navigating uncertainty and shifting priorities.
    • Adept at finding efficient solutions while meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Background

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in client-facing roles, such as account management, project management, or business process consulting.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (e.g., CEFR level C1 or IELTS band score of 7.0–8.0)
  • Demonstrated ability to support sales efforts to help close deals.
  • Strong cultural awareness and adaptability, particularly in working with international teams.
  • Proven track record of working within industries aligned with automation and system integration solutions.
